The chapter examines the role of digital marketing communication tools in tourism businesses in the context of the fourth industrial revolution. It analyzes the websites of more than 1,300 Lake Balaton service providers and highlights the quality problems that prevent some market players from meeting 21st-century consumer expectations. It discusses the role of an own website and presents good practices: as consumer pressure grows, Lake Balaton providers must follow digitalization trends and invest in their websites to stay competitive.
