At the joint, all-day Digital Tourism Workshop of the Tourism Institute of Budapest Metropolitan University (METU) and the CheckINN Tourism Innovation Hub (nearly 100 students, 11 talks and two round-table discussions), Adam Schmutz (managing director) gave a talk titled “The digital presence of Lake Balaton tourism destination providers, development opportunities.” He presented the digital presence of Lake Balaton providers from the guest-experience perspective and drew attention to the blocking points in the customer journey, whose handling is critical for the guest experience; he also took part in the workshop's round-table discussion.
